About the Author
William Ruland is a Professor of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York where he teaches financial accounting and coordinates the core graduate level accounting course. Professor Ruland also designs training programs in accounting and other financial subjects for a number of major corporations.
Ruland earned his Ph.D. at the State University of New York at Buffalo. He publishes extensively in business journals including The Accounting Review, Journal of Accounting Research, and the Journal of Finance, His research interests include the impact of earnings announcements and corporate mergers.
